Fine Typesetting with TjjX Using Native Autologic Fonts

T h e Image of t h e Black in W e s t e r n Art: Volume 4 , Parts 1 and 2, by Hugh Honour, plus its companion French translation L ' l m a g e du n o i r duns l'art occidental, t . IV (in two parts) were set with TJ$, and represent 1,200 final pages of high-quality typesetting and fine book design. These books are the latest in a series published by the Menil Foundation as part of an ongoing 30-year research and publishing project. Previously published volumes in the series dictated conformity to an existing design and the classic Monotype Baskerville fontography.
